Staufen AG further expands its Brazilian business. To this end, the business consultancy joined forces with the Brazilian consultancy Táktica in São Paulo. Táktica will be integrated into Staufen AG in form of a majority holding under the name of Staufen Táktica. “After around 8 years of successful projects in Brazil, the time is ripe for Staufen to open its own office in this important emerging market,” states Wilhelm Goschy, Staufen AG Board Member. “To this end, we decided on a partnership with Táktica, a specialist in lean management who already enjoys an outstanding reputation in Brazil. From joint projects with Táktica we know that our two companies are united by the same philosophy. In future, we will be able to offer this successful model of accumulated lean management expertise to our customers on the Brazilian market,” Goschy explains. “We are delighted to have found an internationally active lean management partner with the German Staufen AG consultancy,” says Táktica’s director Paulo Lima, new CEO of Staufen Táktica. “The establishment of Staufen Táktica has been the next logical step for us after many years of successful international cooperation with Staufen AG in the past. The expertise of both companies provides us with out-standing opportunities in South America’s primary boom region. The emphasis of our activities will initially be on manufacturing, mainly focussing on automotive and mechanical engineering.” In the São Paulo megalopolis, more than 1,200 German companies employ around 230,000 people, thus making it the most important German industrial city in the world.
