The Lean Transformation Journey
To be able to meet the customers’ expectations, by adapting to the market fluctuations, by improving the machinery performances, by developing the employees competences: these have been the targets that have forced Saleri to start Lean Transformation Journey. To be the best one in meeting the customers’ needs: as simple as that.
In order to achieve these targets, the project has been organized in three different topics:
- To redesign the production flow with the Value Stream Redesign, with the aim to reduce the throughput times from the raw materials and components receiving to the finished product delivering, in order to increase the reactivity toward the market.
- To increase the machineries reliability and efficiency with the Total Productive Maintenance, an approach aimed to reduce the waste of the machineries, by implementing autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, focused improvements.
- To develop the competences of all personnel and the leadership with the Shop Floor Management ®
