Effectively immediately, Staufen has added members to its management board. In addition to CEO Martin Haas and COO Wilhelm Goschy, the board of the corporate consulting company will now include Michael Hahn and Markus Riegger as well. Hahn’s new position entails responsibility for consulting operations and HR development. Riegger will assume management of the international consulting business, in-house qualifications and the Staufen Academy.

Michael Hahn and Markus Riegger previously managed the operational excellence business unit at Staufen. Among other things, Hahn was responsible for Lean projects and training programs in the processing and automotive industries. His professional areas of specialty are developing and implementing global added-value systems as well as empowering and guiding managers and Lean experts throughout the change process. Most recently, Riegger served as senior partner and supported the development of competence in Shop Floor Management and Lean leadership. He acquired international experience as a manager and consultant in South Africa, Japan and the Netherlands.

CEO Martin Haas will use the new capacities that evolve from expanding the management board to continue driving the strategic focus of the Staufen towards future-oriented topics such as agility, individualization and digitization. This includes expanding the subsidiary which was founded last year, Staufen Digital Neonex. COO Wilhelm Goschy will now be in charge of the business development department as well as strategic industry and market development.

With 2017 sales of €56 million, the Staufen group can look back on a successful year in which they increased the number of their employees to 280. “With Michael Hahn and Markus Riegger, we have appointed two very experienced colleagues to the management board who always think one step ahead and constantly have our clients’ best interests at heart,” said the two Staufen founders Martin Haas and Ralf Stokar von Neuforn, who is the head of Staufen’s supervisory board. Goschy adds, “By reallocating responsibilities within the management board, not only can we drive our international business forward, we can also strengthen the focus on our core branches. And at the same time we can concentrate our vision on tomorrow’s megatrends, which in our case is the natural growth of our approach to date and our competence in Lean management consulting.”
