Lochmann has been producing cabins since 1983 for the most prestigious international brands of agricultural tractors, earthmoving machines and special machines for various uses. Among its customers are Antonio Carraro, Agritalia, Holder, Venieri, Dexheimer, Landini.
The LOCHMANN cab range is aimed both at the after market and at the original equipment market.
Lean Transformation process
In May 2011, LOCHMANN decided to undertake a project of Lean Corporate Transformation.
The process of change started with a pilot area in the assembly and was supported by a totally new factory layout. In record time it was changed the factory by reorganizing areas, renovating floors and destroying walls. There reorganization of the entire assembly and warehouse/logistics area now makes it possible to a optimal flow of materials and information, thus reducing the lead time and increasing efficiency.
The excellent results achieved by LOCHMANN are an excellent example of this. and demonstrate that even a small company (80 employees) can successfully implement a Lean Transformation.
