About the author

After his training as an industrial mechanic, Thomas Müller has chosen the study of Industrial Engineering (B.Eng.) with a focus on the production industry. He then went to the UK and completed his master's degree with a focus on Industry 4.0, where he developed a maturity model for the evaluation of Industrial 4.0 processes.
He started his professional career at fischer Consulting GmbH as an analyst. In the Lean Production department, he was responsible for the execution of set-up workshops, layout planning, order processing and lean trainings for different industries, both nationally and internationally.
Since 2018 Thomas Müller has been working as a consultant in the area of operational excellence for Staufen AG.
