He began consulting in 1989, at medium and large-sized companies, initially on organizational design, roles, information systems, later on issues more closely related to Total Quality approaches and methodologies, and then moving towards the issues of reorganization by processes, business process reengineering interventions and, more generally, the implementation of the so-called “lean organization,” supporting companies in reengineering the process of order fulfillment and product changes, line optimization, and the definition of the new organization for innovation and product development.
He worked for a number of years (1985 to 1989) in Enichem and Grace, multinational chemical companies, in the Organization function, dealing with design of organizational structures, managerial development programs, design and implementation of information systems.
