As every year at Christmas, we would like to share with you two projects in which we have believed and placed our support.
Thanks to our commitment we have supported:
SAVE THE CHILDREN
Founded in 1919, one of the world’s largest ONG, working in 122 countries to promote and protect the rights of children and adolescents by building partnerships with local communities. The organisation works on various issues: health and nutrition, education, poverty, child protection and rights.
In health and nutrition:
- Vaccine
- Therapeutic food
- Antibiotics
EMERGENCY
An association founded in 1994 by Gino Strada, which has obtained recognition as a non-profit organisation and ONG. This organisation offers free, quality care to victims of war and poverty by building and managing dedicated facilities and training local staff. The areas of intervention are: medicine, surgery, rehabilitation and socio-health orientation.
In humanitarian projects in Italy and around the world, related to the Covid-19 emergency, and in Afghanistan, Iraq, Italy, Uganda, Sudan, Eritrea, Sierra Leone, Yemen.
We are aware that these are critical areas that require major interventions, but we think that everyone’s contribution can be significant if accompanied by seriousness and concreteness.
